"I want these blogs to be creative, and individual..." MRS. Searcy
Ive debated this, a great deal actually and, I think im just going to delete this blog. upon listing my reasons, keep in mind, I have my own opinion, therefor, NOT FOR YOU TO JUDGE. So, here it is.
I hate a great deal of students in this class... Finding these "expectations" a waste of my time, it's just saying that I can't be individual in the way I write, or how much I write. Who are you to put a limit or an expectation on what is personal to me. Have you ever though that just because you don't see it, my writings have deeper meaning? Or have you just jumpped to youre own analagy.
But i digress, say what you want thow wilt. Furthermore, It's not like anyone in this class actually looks at my blog. Yet, I sit in class and blindly watch how you single kids out for their "good" writing. Who are you to tell me that my work is bad. Its about personal gradification right? So, It's not for someone else to give their own input into it. I dont need you shooting down something I write because of the grammer, or the sentence structure. I'll submit paper written journals, but as far as this blog crap goes, im done. This class is a joke. Getting us to do things that we aren't getting marked for, AND not to mention, we arent even studying for our FINAL EXAM. What does blogging have to do with essays, sure IF we do spell check, and proper grammer and sentence structure it portrays just a little of our writing abilities, Untill you tell me (us) that it isn't long enough because "we are in grade 11 now and should be writing longer." As you so 'kindly' put it. Telling me, my writing isnt good compaired to someone luke Nik, or Ryan. What does a magazine have to do with short stories? The only productive thing we've ever done is lit circles. And now, we are doing our media unit with our lit circles. Confusing much? I use to think this class was actually good but now, im really considering dropping out all together. I don't need to waste your time, and you, don't need to waste my time. So, if you plan on pulling me aside at some point, and decide you want to talk. maybe i'll just write you another blog and ecxpress exactly how im feeling about your class. You want your students to be open, well, Ill be open AND blunt. Brutally blunt. Maybe it's a little too much. But PERSONALLY, I think this quite fits it's selected occasion.
Youres truely.
Kailey.
